He was cagier than the first fight because he took massive punishment in the first fight, it was first time he had felt pain like that and he didn't like it. I still get over him turning his back and RUNNING to the corner in the first fight.

Sorry you got spectacularly wrong. I tried my best to educate you but you wouldn't listen.

Whatever game plan Georgie used it wouldn't have been enough. Simply not on Carl's level.

**** me listen to the froch **** suckers on here. I've still won a **** load more on boxing then I've lost...

Educate me on what? Not on carls level? Of course he's on carls level you spastic. I know you must be over the moon Carl won by spectacular KO but that's a stupid statement...he schooled froch in the first fight and stupidly changed a proven game plan (apart from conditioning) for the second fight and took a huge right hand, which was the first big shot he took all fight too.

In terms of punch resistance and toughness I agree he is not on carls level but name me another British fighter that is on carls level on those terms? Nobody. He's not human

In terms of skillset GG is above carls level. If you disagree you don't know ****.

Now don't take this the wrong way I'm not hating on froch I give the guy huge respect what a shot...whoever froch fights next I'll be rooting for him as I have done in the past...

I thought Groves won round 7 & was winning round 8 upto the KO. The fight was turning in Groves favour. I think he was saving energy for a late surge himself but got caught with a Mongo 'Blazing Saddles' punch i'm afraid.

GG is still unproven FACT. Until he actually beats a top 5 fighter there will still be question marks

George was doing alright but got caught up in the heat of the moment and made a mistake it all happens, Personally I think he should have rolled under the left hook instead of blocking it that's where his mistake came blocking then throwing his own hook and I thought he would have taken centre ring like the first fight.

I just think he could have won more early rounds and more conclusively if he would have a brought a bit of the offense from the first fight. This would have taken steam out of Carl and kept him on the back foot a little more. I wanted Groves to win based on his last performance but picked Froch by KO. It was a great punch, but f it wasn't in the 8th, the knockout would have come.

He couldn't have taken centre stage in the rematch, why ? because he' would of had to work, and that means he would have gassed again.

His gameplan was to conserve energy and try to come on strong in the second half of the fight. The problem was that as soon as froch started landing heavy shots, he went passive again.

The fact is that no version of Groves would beat Froch, he doesn't have the chin and engine for a 12 round war, he couldn't blast Froch out in a few rounds, and he doesn't have the ring IQ to implement another gameplan.

Apparently speed kills, and Groves had it in bucket loads, as for Froch he had no jab and was a clumsy plodder who telegraphs every punch.
Strange how effective Frochs jab was then, and that he blasted Groves clean out whilst Groves was trying to counter with his EXTRA SPEED.
