Y doesn't groves try go after abraham(assuming he beats smith prob 80-20 in his favour) he is trailer made for groves slow predictable plus think both managed by sauderlands should be easy to make and u can build his profile in Germany get gd payday and also have price on undercard so both Britain and German TV going to want to show it . Seems better option than hang about for dirrel a harder fight and prob a lot less money

Yeah I agree with you, but it's all about whether Sauerland want to match two of there in-house fighters.

Abraham generates a lot of ££££ in Germany.

Sauerland would rather have two world champions at SMW, than one.

Abraham does look there for the taking- it wouldn't shock me if DeGale if successful in his next fight goes after him.

Whether Sauerland would agree to that would be another matter.

    Doubt that.

Sauerland and Matchroom both know Groves Degale is going to happen in the near future, so there both going to have to work with one another.

If Degale beats Andre Dirrell for the IBF then unified it with the WBO, they come to the table with more bargaining power.

The fight won't happen because the Sauerlands know that Groves will beat Abraham with ease. Groves could maybe even get the stoppage. Abraham does good money for them in Germany so they will try and milk as much money as possible. They will continue to give him easy matched fight like Smith. The only way that belt is going is if a decent boxer becomes mandatory. Like how easy would it of been to match Kessler with Abraham?

I had wondered why more people weren't targeting him. Callum Smith would be perfect after the publicity from Pauls two fights (for the record I think Callum could win but is not ready to hold a title).

That said, I can't wait for Abraham vs Steiglitz 9.

Paul Smith ran AA close there is no guarantee AA wont lose this time. I think if PS can add some more body work and chuck in some decent uppercuts there is a chance he can stop AA from coming on strong late on. Even so the judges will need to be a bit less biased this time round... 60/40 in AA's favour but he's been in many hard fights Miranda, Froch, Stieglitz etc

I think its a 50/50 fight v groves Someone with Georges stopping power should beat AA but he's a cash cow so not likely to happen unless AA is shot and I wonder if Groves can hammer away at someone for 12 rounds or would he fade like he did in the first Froch fight...

Degale would beat AA right now..similar to how dirrell was doing before having a mental moment

If Groves can get back to his tighter boxing he should outpoint and possibly hurt Abraham.

Abraham is a cash cow for Sauerland, expect him to be matched with Stieglitz some more after he beats Smith again. A ****poor champion being matched against weak fighters

This is so true. Perhaps replace the word 'weak' with mediocre.

Ive been saying for a while that Abraham is **** and has well overrated power at SMW.

Groves in anything like pre-cobra'd form would take him to the cleaners. Not that the fight will happen anytime soon as people have said.
