Franklin is a very big guy compared to GSP, though he seems to be gone to 205. It seems very unlikely that GSP would be stronger than Henderson, and GSP almost always finds himself the stronger fighter. Would it even be possible that GSP faces another elite 185 lb fighter before Anderson? It seems likely that if he does fight a fight at 185 before Anderson it would have to be a lower-tier fighter, sort of like Anderson fighting Irving.

So, who could it be?

Why not go straight for the no1 at the weight ?
BJ did that with GSP, GSP should do likewise vs Silva, especially if he wants to remain ahead of BJ in the p4p chart.

I understand that. It makes more sense for him to go straight for it, in a way.
