Dunno why people revel in someones demise, his beef with Frankie ain't even that big is it really, bit of nothing, Frankies going to another level anyways.

I like Curtis cos he gave up the easy ££££ to come into the hurt business.

I'm not gonna slag woodhouse don't like seeing people lose just don't want to hear my name mentioned by him when he talks about opponents cause bad day in the office or not mcdonagh should not be beating u an some one said his a tough journeyman exactly (journeyman) an I wouldn't mind sparring Curtis to help him out but the fight is well an truly gone now.

This thread, and some of the posts, have been a disgrace. This is a guy who gave up a easy life earning good money playing football to take up the sport we all love. For that alone, he deserves a massive amount of respect.

And despite being more recognised than the average boxer coming through due to his background, he hasn't exactly had it easy. Plus, you have to factor in his limited experience in boxing before turning pro - his career has been very much learning on-the-job. Yet, he holds decent wins over Stefy Bull (capped off by arguably his finest performance), Dean Hickman and revenged his controversial loss to Jay Morris in fine style.

Yes, he's had a setback (another close points loss) but there's no reason why he can't come back from it. And even if he doesn't reach the top of the domestic ladder (too early to write him off yet though in my opinion) there's still pride in winning titles like the English, Midland's Area and Masters titles. Absolutely no ****ing reason for him to pack it in, especially after the progress he has made.

I don't dislike Woodhouse although there was interview where he disappointed me with his comments. He ended it by saying, "I just love fighting whether it's in a boxing ring, a cage or on the street." For me that was a little out of order and could have caused trouble for himself, but other than that I do have a lot of respect for the guy.
I do have to admit that I cheered when Morris beat him, but that was because I'd spent some time with Jay a month or two beforehand and really liked the guy, so I was happy to see him pick up the win. Likewise with this one I'm happy to see McDonagh get the win as I found him to be really great guy when I met him last month, but it's nothing to do with dislikeing Woodhouse.
