OK. This is a massive mismatch. You'd have to figure that Haye can beat Bellew easily and should be able to defeat him running at FAR LESS than 100%.

So, I put these questions :

    1. In the ridiculously unlikely event of Haye losing .... what would be an acceptable INJURY excuse ?

or ... a better way of looking at it is the following question :

    2. What level of injury or list of injuries would you inflict on David Haye if you wanted to handicap this into an even-money fight ?

At least an eye patch on one eye so that Bellew has a blind spot to work with. Best handicap would probably be for Haye to down a couple bottles of wine before the fight. Maybe also get Haye to wear a backpack with weights in it.

I think broken left hand and a completely closed right eye (or an eye patch) would make it even-money, for example.

The most effective handicap that anyone could ever place on David, inside of the ring or outside of the ring, would be to wire his mouth shut.

Amputate his right arm, and cut off his left leg then Bellew might make it out the 2nd round - anything less then this is Haye v Demori 2

Put him in heavy steel toe cap workmans boots, put a 15 KG weight on his back, and cut his hair to a grade 0.

That would really fcuk him up.

Hampering his movement and footspeed and psychologically damaging him with the hair would be enough to make it a 50-50 fight.

Apparently a ruptured achilles is worse than all the things suggested so far.

Well we now know that a ruptured achilles isn't a legitimate reason for losing... so has to be decapitated head going into the fight or no legs.
