I spoke to Tony Hay a while back and he said he signed him over to Warren. Honestly don't know what's going on now, though. I assumed that Warren would actually want to do something with a fighter he'd just signed, but there you go.

Francis was with Warren, but I think he was a free agent going into the first cruiserweight prizefighter, after Sports Network went into administration.
Apparently Warren was severely pissed at him, after Dean spurned several potential fights including a possible bout for the WBO lhw title against Erdei, and a defence of his British title against Cleverly, both of which he refused because of undisclosed personal issues.
He claimed he was going to retire if he didn't win that prizefighter tournament, but an article in Boxing News a couple of weeks ago stated that he was considering retirement as he couldn't land any fights.

The last time I saw anythign about him was in BM and he'd opened a clothes shop.

He was a guy that kind of passed me by, the only fight I remember seeing in its entirety was Barney and like all Barney fights it was ****ing horrible to watch !

Didnt his shoulder dislocate just by looking at it wrong ?

Francis would've stopped Barney if he could've thrown his right hand.
As it is the moment he dropped Barney with that left hook to the body and threw himself against the ropes remains one of my all time favourite moment in boxing. Still think he deserved the decision and all.

Man against boy POW. Joe was good couple of years older than Dean, and was already an ABA champ.
Dean by his own admission wasn't the greatest amateur either.
