I've only seen him in 3 fights (Lewis and Mehan). Was he in many exciting fights?

I watched him in both of his fights (d 1st a fiasco) vs Tua , both of his fights vs Maskaev , both of his fights vs Lewis and his fight and his fiasco vs Toney . Also watched him vs Sanders , Wladimir and i m almost sure i even forgot another 1 of his fights that i watched , but Rahman is underrated . His losses 2 Maskaev r unfogiven but unlike Maskaev he could survive Tua , their 1st fight doesn't count as it's not legit .
Rahman was better than every Joe Louis opponent , and possibly better than Louis himself . U never c Mike Weaver or Michael Dokes getting d hate that Rahman gets either . A KO over Lewis , a stoppage over Sanders (although n aged Sanders) and lasting d distance vs Tua , as well as doing better than Tua vs Jeff Wooden trumps bum of d month club by so far it's amazing how no1 gets it . All of Louis' big wins except of Arnold Cream were bum of d month club performances , his division was utter **** .

edit : also , Hasim Rahman is 1 of d cleanest fighters ever , what he achieved in d sport was according 2d rules of d sport and also , d man ducked no1 and both of these were during d strongest era ever . And all of his fights that i watched i watched each 1 2 times at least .

Check his fight with Sanders for a good action.

    Rahman-Tua - controversial ending
    Rahman-Maskaev 1 - memorable ending

Rahman-Ruiz - one of the most boring heavyweight fights. Do not watch this fight. Never.

He lacked consistency. Compared to contenders of his era and other eras, he's decent. But he's one of the worst heavyweight champion since Corbett.

A poor version of Sonny Liston.

he has had a very good career.

he beat a atg when the guy didn't give him respect and that is a fine trick to pull off, many other guys don't capitalize when given their chance and he did.

Thanks for the tip. Ruiz. What fighter. He coulden't have left the sport at a better time, than after his good (non huggy-bear) effort against David Haye.
