Paulie Malignaggi was on Radio5 live earlier trying talking about it. Paulie isnt silly, he has jumped all over this rumor and now the mainstream media is getting involved. From what I can gather, this whole Hatton comeback is a misunderstanding. Someone somewhere regurgitated (great word) some old quotes and then Twitter went into overdrive with it. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Hatton is sitting at home now seriously considering it. All the interest might actually convince him to make a return. As I side note, its possible Hatton’s team deliberately leaked the story to see what the feedback would be. 100% Hatton would fight again. If he thinks he can still be competitive, he’ll fight.
lets not forget that hatton was poor at 147 & pretty small compared to other fighters about at the time.
I think he struggled boiling down against Pac to 140 .Styles make fights Hatton always struggled with southpaws ( Collazo Urango Pacquiao ) You know how good a prime Hatton was .At 147 I think there's good fights to be made .Ricky Hatton is still easily world level .His prssure would be to good for Khan and Brook at 147 .
