I can't disagree with any of that. Given the necessary recuperation and commitment though I think Hatton could come back and give Khan the hardest fight of his life.
I think the Khan-Hatton fight will definitely happen at some point but probably at a stage when Hatton is really far gone that no hard core boxing fan will want to see it, it will simply be a hype fight that attracts the public, like Haye/Harrison.
no shame in losing to them pair of p4p's, ricky gave us great nights, and we were all behind him, exept utd fans!
When Ricky Hatton was facing Floyd Mayweather... It was as if, England where in the World Cup Football final again.
hatton will come back imho........... ricky was pretty slim for him there for his walking weight he uaually has about 6 chins rumplesixchin so he is deffo doin stuff in the gym........ never count out a hitman return, but on the flip side we had this with naz for about 5 years and that didnt happen so???????
i loved it mate it was ****ing massive event everyone was watching it, worst part was in about the 8th when floyd just kept pinging ricky and ricky was leaning on floyd. i knew it was over then i cdnt watch i went and stood in the kitchen cos i didnt wanna see the hitman go down:-((
ricky can get in shape faster than anyone ive ever known he is a real hard worker training wise..........he isnt as fat as he usually is right now, he would be ready in 6 month imo.
I dont think he will ever come back and I hope he doesnt, Mayweather took everything out of him and Pac finished him off. IMO he would be a shadow of the man who beat Zoo up and that is the Hatton I want to remember. If he stays packed in he will always be remembered for only being beaten by 2 p4p greats and being one of Britains best.
