Froch for me, his oppostion in his last 5 fights has been second to none (only losing one, which was close) and should be an example to all fighters.

Froch needs to beat an all time top 10 168 pounder and an all time top 30 160 pounder to match what Hatton has done in beating Tszyu and Castillo. Don't forget Hatton has won a title at a higher weight class and beaten the likes of Malignaggi and Urango. Decent titlists.

Froch has the much better depth already but he just needs a signature win or two.

hattons win over collazo was far, far luckier than froch's win over dirrell

    Froch: Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham.

    Hatton: Tsyzu, Collazo, Castillo, Malignaggi

    Froch pisses it.

Hatton was VERY lucky to get that win over Collazo.

If Hatton was'nt such a huge cash cow Collazo's hand would definetly have been raised and noone would have complained.

Seem like Froch won't even be rememberd period! judging by the way TV are ignoring him...

But yes. I rate Froch more than Hatton and even though Calzaghe was better than Carl, I still have the greater respect for him as a fighter.

i have stated this before for hatton fans (mainly really city football fans) told me i know pish about boxing

  10. froch already has the better names on his resume , froch has already gone passed hatton , but the huge hatton fan base will probably overshadow anything froch does for now

Depends on what Froch does over next couple of years, because Hatton had a more famous career, so at this moment in time will be remembered more and in turn possibly held in higher esteem, even though Froch should be rated higher IMO because he has fought at a high level fight after fight since Pascal, and didnt have the luxury having 30 odd Warren/Sky fights before becoming world champion.

But at the moment Froch unfortunatly hasnt had a big VEGAS or Sky tv bout, to give him more exsposure

Hatton lost clearly to PAc and PBF but still had those vegas victories against Urango, Castillo, Malignaggi

Doesnt make him better than Froch, but could give him a bigger legacy which will alrwady be inflated because of his huge fanbase

I understand and agree with what you are saying, but who has Froch beat who compares to that version of Tszyu? I don't see any.

Hatton is underrated on this board nowerdays, it's a fashion thing, kind of the opposite to the classic forum, people always want the new thing.

Having said that Froch's career is not even over yet so the sky is the limit.
