IIRC the guy Woods beat had been done for murder years before or something. Can remember something like that being said before the fight.

Hatton promotions hasn't exactly took off since his arrival, plus the Theophane incident on Saturday wasn't very professional

 

This has happened to a few boxers I know, TV shows need so much bouts incase there is a lot of stoppages and they need to show more footage to fill time slots. The boxers still get paid they just don't get the bout.

 

I heard somewhere that the Theophane fight was missed because medical staff turned an hour late which meant fights were delayed? Anyone know if that's the case or was it just **** time management. Either way it isn't great for those who missed their fights, but slightly more excusable.

I used to love watching Woods fight, gave it his all.

Makes me realise how much I enjoyed BBC coverage of boxing, something about it and Jim Neilly is so good IMO (I know some on here can't stand him though). :bbb
