I think he's going to struggle with Marquez's accuracy and power at this stage.

Freddie Roach improves Ricky Hatton, even at this stage - IF Ricky is willing to listen. Roach won't improve his boxing skills 10-fold, but he will improve his defence 100-fold.

Moving his head, keeping his hands up and not leading with his face, yeah maybe.

Dont no what youve seen really tbh, hes never gonna get a world title and to be completely honest Matthew Hall, Ryan Rhodes, Anthony Small & Bradley Pryce would all beat him so he isnt getting a European or British Title. Talentless was harsh but hes not very good imo m8

Its a bad choice by Ricky to carry on.Marquez is a dedicated fighter who has come back well from defeats.Ricky is way to un fit and out of shape also he did not come back well from the Floyd loss and i think it will be the same this time.Beard will probably be the trainer and i see him pulling a cut and tired Hatton out after about 7 rounds.

nobody can polish a turd, so even Roach could not improve Hatton. Besides Roach would not want to be associated with a guy like Hatton, who he recently basically said was ****.
Hatton is too thick to listen anyway, and his ego doesn't help either.

Billy Graham will not have him back, as Hatton has turned him over on payments from the PBF fight.
That's the kind of character we're talking about here, who would want to work with a person like that?
hopefully the Marquez fight happens, he'll get outclassed and sparked again.

Whats everyones problem with Hatton on this forum, I am a big Hatton fan as you can see with my username but some of the grief hes getting on here is well and truly out of order.
How can you call someone a turd whos won world titles at two different weights, won Ring fighter of the year (2005), won the Ring light-welterweight title, I really do not know. He got beat by two of the best fighters of the last 20 years and those performances arent as bad as they look after the beatings they gave to Marquez and Cotto.
Even when he talks about the Mayweather and Pacquiao fights and taking on pound for pound fighters it never comes across as being arrogant so I think the grief is really uncalled for!!!!

his record is like swiss cheese, full of holes.
his supposed big wins were against shot 'name' fighters (and the Tszyu fight was massive home cooking), while when was the last time Pac or PBF humiliated and stopped someone as they did Hatton? Even guys like David Diaz or Baldomir did was better than Hatton did. In reality and behind all the hype, Hatton was just a celebrated club fighter, overrated shite.
