Maybe 4 yrs from now, But Hatton at this stage will still break Khan down fairly easy. But defo a money maker for Ricky later on should he decide to fight any longer. (Sometime in the future)
I know we hate Ali over here ! Get real.. of course there is racist people in the world, there always will be but don't lump the 'British' into this mould thankyou. Khan needs some seasoning before hatton. But he's got a great punch and from what I've heard he's faster then Pacquiao. As things stand speed or not Hatton spanks him pretty bad. But after sparring with the pacman for a couple of years we'll see what becomes of Khan.
This fight will NOT happen EVER - for a number of reasons: 1. Khan is on a long term contract with Frank Warren, who, lets face it, has looked after him very well thus far, bypassing all serious British and other European opposition to manoevre into world title contention. 2. Ricky Hatton and Frank Warren hate each other as much as Miguel and Evangelista Cotto. Frank used to promote Ricky until a breakdown in their relationship post-Tszyu, when Ricky wanted to go Stateside and Warren didn't feel it was in his best interests (and about 1000 more reasons if truth be told). 3. Hatton won't want Warren anywhere near the promotion, and Warren won't let Khan fight without him being involved. 4. Hatton would TKO Khan's ass into retirement. He cannot fight inside, he cannot take a punch, and doesn't have either enough power or accuracy to gain respect from the Hitman. Ricky Hatton TKO rounds 3-6 > Amir Khan. But one hell of a beating first. The two guys are friends in any case, that fact is well known.
I think that's crap. I'm sure there are people who don't like Khan because they don't like pakistanis but even then it's not about religion, it's about culture. It just so happens that the two high profile asian/middle-eastern Muslim boxers in this country, obviously being Khan and Hamed, are total pricks. Did you ever think of that? Don't tar everybody with the same brush.
