I think Witters punch power is overated. Whilst he hits harder than Hatton he doesnt throw to many combinations and tires extremely quickly, probably due to putting everything behind each punch he throws.

And granted whilst he can be accurate his punch output per round is dire. Hatton will get tagged nodoubt, but when Witter starts to tire Hatton will swarm.

Witter is too obsessed about Hatton, he should just forget this fight for now, go on to have some unification fights against the other belt holders and then focus on Hatton again after Mallignatti. By then both will be unified champs and there will be no better fight for Hatton out there.

Hatton knows he can sell a sparring session in the UK and it will be on PPV but in the States he still needs named opponenets. After Lazcano I fully expect a Malignaggi fight at the Garden. Witter needs to impress on TV against Bradley and then take a fight in the States to raise his profile. If memory serves, he's only fought outside the UK twice, once in LA against Ndou and I think once in France(correct me if I'm wrong there?) early on in his career. If Witter seriously wants Hatton then go Stateside, fight a couple over there and get a big enough name to earn a purse.

Having said that, I can still this fight going ahead next year and Hatton putting Witter to sleep. Witter is a choker as he showed against Zab. Add that to the fact that he has never been in with anyone who hits or works as hard as Hatton. He's an unorthodox fighter but Hatton will expose him as a just a good domestic boxer.
