I think at 147 Cotto would be too strong but Hatton would still have great chance.

that tactic wouldn't work for hatton against cotto as cotto's power comes from short punches ...cotto's technique and punching form is nothing like tszyu's

HELLLLL yeah Cotto brutalizes Hatton in 4 or less. Hatton cant come forward on Cotto...you know why..he will walk into a fighter that has more power has faster hands is a more accurate puncher and has killer power with very short compact punches...How can he smother Cotto..lol **** he would be on cottos turf..If cotto tags that body which he will. Hatton is not getting up.

The usual american Hatton hating Nobjockeys have spouted thier usual bollocks again I see..........!!!!!
Im a Hatton fan but I love Cotto , This has the potential to be one of the "great" future fights , Not a display of silky boxing but a good old bloody & brutal tear up.........I do think Cotto would edge it at Welter but he did get shook up a few times by Judah in their fight so Im sure Hattons more aggresive attack could cause him problems to say the least , The downside for Hatton is that Cotto is simply relentless & his strength could cause Hatton big trouble as the fight fight went on..................A brilliant prospective match up though............!!!!

Smarter move is to amp up your opponent a la Amsterdam and Kessler.

Then the victory looks better. But Scar doesnt play games like that.

I think if hatton does beat floyd he will lose soon after if he keeps fighting the top guys at welter. Cotto to stop hatton late on

One of the greatest match-ups I've heard of in years. Another incredible match-up would be Cintron vs Margo II and Cintron vs Paul Williams.....Collazo vs PBF would be intresting though many would say I'm smoking the green stuff. I think the Palvik vs Taylor and Cal vs Kessler will be incredible fights. I'm extremely excited right now.....please excuse me for a moment.
