Former junior welterweight champion Ricky Hatton has a tough fight on Saturday in Las Vegas against Paulie Malignaggi, but he is looking for big things in 2009. For months he's been talking about a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr., he's called for possible fights with Manny Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya, but now Juan Manuel Marquez has been added to the list.

"I'd like to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr., Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao or Juan Manuel Marquez. He (Marquez) is one of the best fighters in the world and he has said he would like to move up a weight. But I will only be in the firing line for these fights if I put in a big performance on Saturday," Hatton told PA Sport.

Hatton's big wish is to avenge his lone loss, a knockout at the hands of Mayweather Jr, which took place last December. He wants a rematch so bad that he would rather Mayweather Jr. knock him out for a second time, than not have a rematch at all.

"I wouldn't mind another crack at Floyd. I don't want to be an old man moaning in a few years' time about that fight, I'd rather he knock me out another time. If I have another cracking performance on Saturday then I will put myself in the shop window for another fight with Floyd," Hatton said. "The new training camp [with new trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr.] has made me into a better fighter."

Im glad there are finally talks about this, its a great match up and lots to gain for either fighter.

JMM needs it to disrupt Pacquiao's plans into forcing him into a 3rd match, not just sitting on his ass waiting for the match to fall on his lap like hes been doing.

A Hatton win over JMM would be more significant career wise than was JLC.

    WHo you all got

it'll be interesting how JMM takes to fighting at a higher weight. Really rate the guy think he's fantastic, but i've gotta go with a Hatton victory, just think he'll be the better fighter at light welter

I'll take Hatton due to experience and pure aggression.

Here we go again, Same as DLH-Pac... first Pac will be brutalized by Hoya. Now that it was signed Pac now has a chance and "MIGHT" even win the match...

I like Marquez but too bad, Hatton would pick Pac because he has first bid.

I would like to think Hatton would be too strong but I will have to wait to see which Hatton shows up on Saturday.

hatton would be too strong but jmm boxing skills would make it an interesting fight, like blanke said it depends on the hatton doing the business against paulie.

With the way Floyd handled Hatton, I give JMM a very good chance. Hatton may be a little too big and strong though.
