who would people take in this fight ? obviously hatton would have to go up a weight again where he struggles but i think it would be a great fight .thoughts?
I dont think this would be very competitive in the end. Hatton would get molested...He would probably take some early rounds before getting steamrolled in about the 8th or 9th. Ricky just isnt the same fighter at 147.
There ain't but two people that can **** with Margo at 147. The Punisher annd The Hitter. Everyone else is complete bull****. No one else has the strength to push him around, or the chin to take his punches. Not Shane, Zab, Hatton, Kermit, Berto or Cotto... No one.
Too big, too strong, too natural at 147lb. This is a nightmare for Hatton. Mind you I think DLH is too, and dearly hope Mayweather Snr dissuades Hatton from taking the fight. Hatton if fighting at 147lbs, needs to fight someone closer to his own height and reach. Hatton is small so unfortunately there are not many top options at 147lbs. I still think him and Cotto would be more competitive, but his future lies with bouts against Manny, Bradley, and Torres back down at LW. All these would be explosive fights at Hattons natural 'fighting weight'. Those three names would be a nice end to Hattons resume win or lose. Plus Manny is such a huge draw in Asia, and Hatton huge over here, that a Wembley bout in the UK would guaranteed to be sold out, and PPV numbers for the UK and Asia alone would be huge. I also think there would be a fair amount of interest Stateside, Australia and Europe.
He would destroy Hatton in 5...He tore up Cintron in 6...I think he takes Hatton much earlier Hatton isn't much of a fighter when he isn't able to push you around...He won't be able to do that with Margo... Margo 5th rd KO

beat me to it... Yea definitely not...He HAD him in 4 rounds...but that's it...i think most of his opponents "have" Margo in the first 4...then they lose it
