When they stopped the fight while Juan was laying it on him to tie his damned shoe lace I lost all respect for British refereeing. That was unthinkable. Juan was jobbed royally. I hate seeing a guy go to another guy's backyard, wherever, and get screwed like that.
I've never seen a fighter look at a ref for help as much as Hatton did today. It's as if the ref was some trained dog to do what Hatton wanted him to do. Pretty sad. And let's not start about the shoe lace thing. The ref stopped the action about something besides the shoe lace. The ref discovered the show lace later.
Yep and if Hatton had done a 'Hopkins' everytime he got hit low the fight would still be going as we speak. Why watch Hatton if you hate him so much?
British refs let a lot go unlike across in US, maybe why Hatton complained like he did after the Mayweather fight, the worst case of this was when Khan was just given a verbal for what he did to Kristijansen, in the USA there would be a high chance he would have got DQ'ed for that.
The ref did OK any ****er should be able to see that. I guess some people were just looking for any angle to have a moan about Hatton from?
I never realised there were so many women with pmt on this forum I aint even seen the fight yet, but its cracks me up when I see how so many posters here pick and choose when they wanna moan about refs/decisions/low blows/ cheating blah blah if ya don't like a fighter you don't like em, but dont waste your life trying to justify why, no one cares, because there are another hundred fights that could be similar to one you're bitching about but cause it didnt involve a fighter ya didnt like you dont have a problem with it
So you didn't notice the many times when Hatton directly looked at the ref and the ref seemed to act with a response.
and you didnt notice in my post that I haven't seen the fight yet ? it was a general comment i was making becuase i read similar whinging on here every week, but so many posters here aren't consistent enough, as i said they pick and choose when to whine ( basically whine when a its a fight involving someone they dont rate )

This ref didn't seem to understand that a the fightes didn't respect him so wouldn't break when he told them to and b that he needed to physically part them the referee was a complete abomination and I m a hatton fan.
