Did anyone hear Ricky say he felt that strong against LC that he could boss him around the ring like a rag doll? If that was beeing slightly weight drained imagine if he went straight back to the gym now and stayed in shape, frightning thought for his next fight!

They need to make another fight quick, before all that training for Castillo is wasted. Outstanding fitness whether it be strength, stamina, power or whatever is built over time.

Good point, you have to ride the momentum (both public momentum and physical fight shape momentum) of this fight, and make a fight now!

Hatton is incredibly strong, I agree with the OP.

Its not a race against time to make the man look good again.. Maybe somebody like Hopkins or Holyfield but not a 28 year old Hatton. He could move back up to WW again and look against anybody who isn't comparible to Collazo. It was just the wrong fighter for a debut.

I have to disagree. This fight was the best he has looked so far in the United States, and you have to capitalize.

Also, he has a tendency to balloon between fights. Keep him focused to try to avoid that and give him a big fight to think about.

And, his style is not a style which usually extends into the mid 30´s, he may only have a couple of big fights left.

    Make a big fight now!

Hatton isn't particularly drained. Obviously it would be better to come in even lighter but he adds 9 pounds. Under ten pounds and less is quite good. It's the guys who go ten pounds and over who are just going nuts.

Yup, hav to agree wid ya acb. The only way u can keep hatton in shape is, by signing a petition that will ban him from every chippy and pub in manchester until his next fight.
