Solo should just give it away, he has never stepped up and would be KTFO again if he did at least Hoppa is seeing what he can really acheive.

its a shame its come to this to maybe make him realise to give it away, all the talent he had, just never tested him self and used it to improve, was actually one i like watching fight...

Bit early for the calls to give it away I think....lets see what he does in his next few fights....we all know SOL was never going to be HW champ of the world but he could still KO many fighters and get into the top 50 in the world.

He could have some big fights on the aussie scene against Alex, Briggs, even Camaron.

1 loss dont mean its the end of the game....he has at least a 50% chance of getting the win in the fights listed above so why would he quit?

If he gets beaten in a few more average fights then maybe its time....and I know the COL fight was average.....lets wait and see :thumbsup

Agree with Ashley! except I believe Sol will get his chance at a world title shot if his heart is in the right place.

The guy he fought was Roy Sio. Apparently a mma fighter who wanted to go all out in the first round. First Pro boxing fight.
Sol didn't want to take a step back and unfortunately got caught. You would of thought Sols boxing experience over Roy would have at least given him the advantage by being a smarter fighter and not being a brawler. Seen it too many times...Heavyweights going all out in the first 3 rounds then just running out of steam. Most of the time the fitter, smarter Guy with the biggest heart will always come out on top.

Sol doesn't need to give anything away. He needs to sit down with his team and seriously look at what improvements need to be done. I'm sure he realises this is his last chance to make it all happen. Hopoate is a classic example. Got KO by Ben Edwards in Canberra but he has gotten back up and moved on.

Like they say; Its not how many times you get knocked down, but how many times you get back up and go again!

Haumono is just a good domestic fighter. His mental strength simply won't allow him to progress past this level.

True, thats why he needs a good team around him in order to help him overcome any self-doubts or fear. Have enough compelling reasons to why he's really in the boxing game and the answers will come.

Unfortunately some boxers use money as a driving force only to give the game away because their heart wasn't really in it in the first place in order to overcome any challenging obstacles.

its a sad day when a sport compliments their fans for not rioting......

just shows what a few low life bikers and hero lebs can do to a sport. they have lowered the expectation of crowd behaviour....

    credit? bull****.

I'm hearing strong rumours that "Roy Sio" was in fact Ray Sefo - can anyone who was at the fight comment?

i cant see Ray Sefo doing that sort of stuff to a guy while he is on the canvas already? Ray has had boxing fights and someone said the other guy had no fights other than MMA is that correct?

boxrec confirms it was Roy Sio. !st boxing fight!!!! rematch must be had. The guy is used to MMA and probably just went into head ripping and tearing mode as is customary in that MMA stuff lol

Haumono is lucky really, cos he would of lost embarrisingly to a rank novice otherwise.Anyone can get caught all the same, and Roy might be the next best thing to accidentally come out of Australia if he can bang pretty good.
