    Who wins this one?

Haye is a top athlete who holds an advantage in speed and has two fisted power. He's also the bigger man by about a stone in weight and a couple of inches in height.

Jack is more proven resume wise and looks a killer in his prime footage and he probably hits harder.

Both have questions regarding their durability at the top level.

    Who wins and why?

    According to Boxing News, Haye.

I think Dempsey would clean his clock in short order, personally.

Haye is an excellent fight but I think Dempsey wins by KO before 5 in a mini-war

Haye demolishes Dempsey in a one-sided contest. Dempsey wouldn't land much and look like a club fighter. Different era, different skill level.

Haye seemed to hurt Wlad in the 12th round, so
I believe his power is decent, but average at best.
Haye might be too big, quick, and elusive, but
I believe Jack catches haye and stops him.
Haye used to get dropped by cruisers less
    Powerful than Dempsey.

I'd take Dempsey, quick and brutal.

Definitely dangerous for him though, even if I consider Haye to be entirely average. He's a good puncher, at least, and probably a better one than any Jack ever faced.

Dempsey steps on the precious toe and RUINS The Strawman or The Hay man - whatever he goes by now...

I don't slag off Haye's abilities like many of you. But, yeah, I thought the thread was a couple years old when I clicked and expected to see ThinBlack.

I really hope this is a joke thread,
    -Dempsey had more power
-Dempsey had a good boxing style
-What i think it would come up to Dempey fought like a man whose life depended on it this was how he ate thats why he fought the way he did, Haye cries and acts like a baby because of his toe, Dempsey gets knocked out of the ring and gets back in and dosen't wine or anything if Haye got knocked out the ring what do you think would happen. Dempsey wins on everything and i hope everybody else sees this and if you don't i don't really feel like arguing it with you because it dosen't deserve to be argued. Dempsey would win .Fact.

    how's it a troll thread?

are you saying Dempsey is too primitive to be matched with champions from future generations?

Jesus some people on here are amazing, the very consideration that a modern boxer could beat the likes of Dempsey seems beyond any sort of reason yet it isn't all that farfetched, Dempsey has been seriously hurt by smaller and less harder punching people than Haye (as has Haye). Haye is bigger, probably stronger, more athletic, good speed and power and not a bad finisher. I'm picking Dempsey but some people wrote of Haye without giving a second thought of how the fight could unfold.
