With this fight being mooted as a potential, along with chagaev as a possible challenger for Haye's WBA title, is Haye making steps away from the Klitchko's now to build interest for the future, or simply because he doesn't feel he will be able to compete with them?
Negotiations seem to be breaking down on a daily basis.

I've always stood by Haye and defended him but if a fight with a Klitschko isn't made this time there is no excuse. I don't mind the talk of another opponent as a negotiating technique with K2 but it has to be just talk. Even if he isn't offered the money split he thinks he is deserving of by K2 he should take the fight now. The offer won't get any higher by taking another fight in between. If it is still ****, so what? Win the fight, cement your legacy and then make your own silly demands for defenses.

If it isn't made now it can only be because he doesn't want it imo. I really hope this isn't the case.

This. I'm not going to believe that there is any substance to the Haye-Audley rumours until I see them both at a presser together promoting the fight. I think people are forgetting that Haye's missus is due to drop any time soon as well so that could be a perfectly legitimate reason why negotiations aren't as advanced as we'd all like. Also, Haye might just be waiting for Vitali to beat Sosnowski before he commits to his next fight.

    this x 2

i can't see Haye stepping in a ring with Audley any time soon.

He MUST fight a klitchko urgently. He will become a joke if he doesn't.

I am a Haye fan by the way. I just don't want to be mugged off watching Haye batter the **** out of fraudley

Like others have said, always supported Haye, felt he was saying and doing the right things. But when you've been slagging off the Klitschko's to everyone who'll listen, telling everyone they're crap and your going to knock them out, wearing provocative t-shirts, then at some point you should actually man-up and fight them, put up or shut up. He's already pulled out of two fights, now there are rumours of him running out on a third, my patience with him as a fighter is running out, and I'm starting to lose interest, because at the moment he seems to be all talk and no trousers.

I do not think Haye will fight Audley,i do think he wants to take on Vitali instead of Wlad.If Vitali does retire at the end of the year this could be Hayes one chance to fight him and Vitali looks like he might be past his best,it would still be a tough fight for Haye.

Haye aint going to do all that then dodge them he will go down as a joke.Haye is smart and knows how he wants to do it, vitali first then the big wlad undisputed fight 50/50.If haye wins both imo he will retire for sure.

The only fight i'd accept Haye taking if he does'nt fight a klitchko would be adamek which in some ways i'd actually prefer to watch . Two normal sized former cruiserweight champs in a good hard scrap as opposed to haye suffering the death of a thousand jabs as i suspect would happen against wlad and vitali. Hayes got nothing to gain out of fighting audley he'd be regarded as a joke. especially in the states.

This fight can't happen (Haye v Harrison), surely not.

It really, truly, would be worthy of 'a new low'.

Haye vs Harrison will be the biggest domestic fight since Benn vs Eubank I.

With the state of the sport at the moment, and lack of exposure and interest. The facts are that Audley Harrison is still a big name, still interests the public..........and still fighting.

If you are a professional boxer, you want to fulfil all your ambitions. Won World Titles, defend titles infront of a home crowd, fight in Vegas, and have a massive domestic fight, which captures the public's attention.

Here's that fight........forget Enzo Mac bvs David Haye. "No one even gave a flying **** about that fight"

    Audley Harrison vs David Haye.

No Doubt about it, i laugh and the ****ing ****s who try and make fun of Audley Harrison.

I think he would spark David Haye out.

In fairness if Audley actually came to fight let his hands go and threw a bomb like the one he caught sprott with he just and its a very big just might.
