I would rather see David Haye against Tyson Fury. Tyson Fury is a motormouth just like Haye, and he would give as good as he gets. Fury is a gypsy warrior with a lot of heart and would come for a fight, not a payday. I used to be a hater of Fury but I think I'm becoming a fan now. He's trained by Manny Steward now and could spar Wlad and get in the shape of his life. The fat ****. I like him.

He might get knocked out early but he's a character, someone who can sell a fight. Boxing is not just about fights, but events. Haye vs Harrison turned out to be ****, but it was an event. People talked about it, the build up was incredible. Its not just casual fans, but hardcore fans that allow themselves to fall under the spell of hype and marketing. We all watch 24/7 and fightcamp 360, we all get fired up when we hear the music, see a tribute video, a build up video. It's not just the fight we're buying into, it's everything else that goes with it. I don't care how much of a hardcore fan you are, we all like the wrapping, not just the gift.

Chagaev is not a name in the UK, and would be boring. Sky would find a way to sell it, lie they did with Ruiz, but like the Ruiz build up, it would be pretty boring.

Has Fury earned the right to fight for a World Title??...of course not. Hopefully in the future tho.

Haye has to fight someone World Class, he simply cant go down the domestic route again, his rep would be in tatters(whats left of it)

Is there any news on Chagaev's medical status?

I hear what you're saying but who else is there in the heavyweight division? There might be guys like Chagaev and Peter, who are more qualified for a world title shot but they are boring. Maybe Chris Arreola could be another option, or Adamek, but there isn't a lot of choice and it's not like Hayes belt means much anyway.

You not seen the Klits then? Their fights are so boring and neither has had a career defining fight apart from when Vitali got his face smashed in by an out of condition Lennox Lewis who took the fight at short notice.

I suppose Wlad getting bounced around the ring by a golfer was exciting. :hi:
