    Who wins if they fight this year ... ?
    both ex cruiser champions, both with big mouth.
    Gomez with nice HW record so far beating Sam and McCall.

    Why is Gomez done??? I watched his last fight live against McCall.He didnt look like a shot fighter. Quite the other way round he fought like a fighter in his prime giving McCall a lesson in boxing.Gomez showed a quite convincing performance against McCall.The Cuban is still a force to be reckon with.

    Gomez is out of shape since 2002
    if he would take boxing serious he would had already won a Heavyweight Title

    an out of shape Gomez could outbox Virches
    but against Haye he could get in trouble

    Yep ! If Gomez didnt prefer partyhing to sweating inside a gym he would be a champ with quite a few title defenses by now.
    A pity that he has never taken his chosen profesion as seriously as he should to be a great fighter. What a waste of talent he is!
    I can still remember his former coach Timm furiously shouting telling him that he has to get up early in the morning,take the car,drive more than 80 miles in order to be at his job in the gym whereas Gomez just has to walk around the corner and still manages to be late for every training unit.
    Anyway! Gomez's stamia is certainly not the best out there,but God blessed him with huge talent.Gomez can beat any rival out there on a good day. He for sure has a good chance to defeat Virchis who cant hold a candle to the Cuban in terms of talent.
    He also has a chance to beat Haye IMO. Gomez is better than any fighter Haye has faced so far.
