What happened in this fight? Why did Haye just wait until the third round to knock out Harrison? We all know he could have knocked him out in the first round if he wanted to.

He had also said loads leading up to the fight that he would end it in round 3 and for everyone to put their money on it.
He seems tetative in the early rds in every fight. Just happens that Audley ead even more afraid. remember that Haye don't wanna fight a SP either. He ran from Chagaev like the plague
There wasn't any toying happening those rounds, and the public got nothing out of it. There was not even a SINGLE landed blow, not even a jab. Like the others said, the money was on the 3rd. Haye said multiple times before and once after the fight that he had put money on it and so did his friends and family. He only started denying it afterwards, because it's illegal of course and the BBBoC wanted to start an investigation.
Haye was shitting his pants that's what happened. He expected Audley to attack and when that didn't happen Haye didn't know what to do. He treaded carefully as he thought Audley had some kinda gameplan and was setting a trap. Took him a couple rounds to realize Audley had nothing lined up.
