Haye, Mesi got dropped by Jirov and Jirov got robbed, a Crusierweight who wasn’t even that skilled, Haye is levels above.

To be fair Jirov clearly hit Mesi in the back of the head in the 9th round that caused a brain bleed. Mesi was winning the fight handily until Jirov hit him with an illegal blow that caused the injury. Despite Mesi being down 3 times at the end and fighting through a brain bleed he still deserved to win a decision no controversy.

Would I favour Haye against Mesi ? Probably but I think you need to take into consideration Mesi was hit with a clear rabbit shot vs Jirov that caused the brain bleed.

Go to 44:08 timestamp and check out the rabbit shot.

Surely, he's Golota level. So, Messi will win this encounter.
As for Joe Mesi? Not too likely.

Agreed though Mesi also went life and death with monte Barrett. Barrett to his credit was a pretty dangerous fighter and beat some good opponents and took some undefeated records

while David Haye is a fighter that I often criticized I think he has a little bit more to offer and would stop Joe
