Eubank lost his fights to Thompson (one very close and the other stopped when he was ahead due to eye swelling) AFTER Calzaghe beat him. In the first fight Chris may well have won by stoppage had he not backed off when he had the Cat on ***** street.

He's never looked back since. The mark of a fighter is not if you lose but how you deal with it. Like Benn he dealt with it by coming back far better.

His chin is not that good, his punch is overrated, or something else. He should take couple fight, before fighting wladimir.

Wladimir also should get something in that fight and if Haye get couple good win, that fight is huge...and wlad get little legacy.:deal

Eh? Haye was kicking Thompson's arse until his stamina went.

And I believe Thompson was favourite, as someone questioned to earlier. Haye probably went up in peoples estimations in this fight, as he proved he should have beaten Thompson.

Haye was tired and breathing heavily in the second round. One of the commentators even remarked how he was in danger of punching himself out during round 2.

Carl Thompson was the epitome of the term "action fighter"

Rather than discredit Haye for losing to him, why not give credit to a battle-tested veteran who was able to pull off a tremendous victory in the twilight of his career. The Rothmann fight was unbelievable as well. Thanks for posting it. I hadn't seen it in a long time.

Cunningham would stop HAye late in the fight. Haye has questionable stamina.

Haye would stop Cunningham early because he is the hardest hitting p4p boxing in the world and Steve does not have the power to bother Haye.

    WHAT?!?!?!

FFS I've never seen such a short thread with so many misguided (and just plain dumb) opinions.

Yeah sure he would. Haye has far better stamina than he did when he was a younger fighter who went out clubbing constantly. His stamina is not brilliant but it is decent enough to go the distance and what on earth does Cunnigham have to bother him?

Enzo Mac has very good stamina, fast hands, works the body and has real KO power in both hands. So Cunnigham shares Enzos stamina but he does not bring any of the offensive arsenal that Enzo did to trouble Haye.

And absolutely no chance can Cunnigham take Hayes shots long enough to make it a deep fight.
