You thought I was going to apologise for it? Hayes demeanor, his personality. It all started at the press conference and I thought nothing of it. I thought Haye is just uncomfortable and feeling like crap because he's taken this fight with Harrison. I thought he knew the amount of stick he would get would be huge and so he was just uncomfortable at being in the public eye, that's all. However, I thought this wouldn't last very long. In fact every interview he's done since then he's not appeared his usual self. David Haye is usually the type who tries too hard in interviews, almost like he wants to be accepted. He's friendly, sometimes funny, has a smile on his face all the time. Even when he was trash talking Valuev and Ruiz he just seemed happy all the time and enjoying being in the limeligh. Now he's got that pissed off look on his face, seems to get snappy at the people interviewing him, is unapologetic and like he doesn't try too hard anymore. What's up with it?
He wants to kill Harrison, thats whats up with him. All this talk of Haye and Harrison being chummy off camera is a load of old bollocks, Haye has the killer in him, death in his eyes. :deal
Haye has charisma, he is a likeable guy. He has become a bit like Mayweather. He is looking for a high profile fight, which will positively affect his bank balance. Despite being millionaires it is having little to do with legacy or credibility. It's a con job. These guys knew the story going into the contract signing. The show is called best of enemies so Audley brings out the ultra delusional persona and Haye has gone with the chip on his shoulder bad guy persona. It's fake and cringey. I love hype but this is mutton dressed as lamb and it stinks. Shock response from me. Not. :yep
yeh your right. its down to two things 1) the heat between them is real and audleys constant bull**** is starting to get on his nerves. 2) he really doesn't want to be there. he knows deep down its a joke fight and even though hes gonna get paid, he would rather be under pressure with a test like the klitsckos or adameck. ...doesn't mean it will be a good fight though.
Something does seem odd..... it's almost as if Haye is being forced to sit next to someone he dislikes at school. Wonder if Sky have forced their hand for once and showed who's boss In any case, someone's getting KTFO in this one - so it's one less muppet to worry about regardless of the outcome.
I dunno man, although Audley is viewed as a clown by some people, he seems the type of guy that's hard to genuinely hate.
Maybe he's pissed off at having to do rounds of interviews to promote a fight he knows has little merit from a purely boxing point of view. If he clearly spells out the reasons or logic behind the fight and its likely outcome then it'll possibly damage the money it'll generate. I guess I'm trying to say that maybe he's continually having to watch what he says and bite his tongue and its making him up uptight?

Yeah I think he's just struggling to justify the fight. There have been quite a few questions about why exactly he's taking the fight and its very difficult for him to be honest because he knows himself there is little merit to this fight except for the money. He does also seem to genuninely hate Audley Harrison...usually he just talks **** in a light hearted manner but its different when you see him conversing with Audley. Basically its this fight...he's become a bit weird since this fight was announced so I wouldn't read much into it beyond that.
I did think in his Sky interview that he looked a bit irked. I don't think it is to do with Audley though because he is barely speaking sometimes and he isn't coming across as that confrontational.
Haye is disappointed that the press and fans were quick to dismiss him as a con artist and liar. The truth hurts. Haye kept rapping for months on how he won't ever fight Audley, now he tries to create some bad blood hype story that only the dumbest and most naive of his fans will buy into. It's embarrassing really.
David Haye has already lost a ton of fan leading up to the fight, he is now ruining his image with the..."Gang ****" comments. All the time while Audley Harrison is being composed and going about this build up with a detached persona. I've seen this demeaner in Lennox Lewis, all the top performers in sport come across slightly removed and detached emotionally. And this is the way Audley Harrison is coming across in most of the interviews and press conferences, i see no fear in Audley Harrison.......none. David Haye looks like a teenager, his emotions are everywhere, like a woman. He's trying to be intimidating and sadistic, but he's just naturally that type of man. He's not Mike Tyson or Bernard Hopkins. These are the type of guys who you could actually see, dping really bad things to people outside of the ring. "Just in general life" David Haye is full of panic, and anxiety because he understands now that Audley Harrison is not really a joke. David Haye is not stupid, technically he knows Audley Harrison is not a joke..!!! Listen to how different his atitude is towards Harrison in this interview, he's actually giving him some credit. And then listen to Audley Harrison, same old composed demeaner.........no fear no uncertainty. There's allot of uncertainty, when David Haye is blabing on during the interviews.
