Oh yeah, that was another thing, i think after round 9, which i scored for Bradley and he landed some good clean shots.

They showed a replay of Bradley hurting his ankle rather than the punches he landed.

It just goes on and on

I think you have to realize that the majority of people believe what they are told without question.

I have watched the fight twice now, last time with the sound off.

As a boxing fan it spoils it for me when I know they are talking ****, and wow last night they were clutching at ****ing straws talking ****.

It was the best part of the night listening to these ****ers back track, after sucking Pac off for an hour.

Funny enough, Lampley, Merchant, and Foreman completely ignored all of Byrd's work against Oquendo, in what was an extremely close fight(I had Byrd by a point)

merchant is on the way out if you havent noticed. no one is getting kellerman's job. he's being groomed for it and I highly doubt an increased tendency to express his opinion will endager his eventual ascension to full time hbo boxing analyst. Oh, and i've witnessed these 30 second periods of silence before, and you aren't exaggerating. the fact that i've witnessed it in a wide range of matches, and with a wide range of fighters, popular and not, hbo darlings and not, renders the phenomenon being used as basis for some "bias" arguement completely moot in my mind, however.

You see no bias in their commentary? Or are you arguing for the sake of arguing?

I watched the British broadcast, with former boxers and Ricky Hatton commenting. They pretty much saw it the same way - a one-sided beating.

The silence is usually when a fighter they intend to build up is getting hit a lot. Check the Chavez/Rubio fight when Rubio was landing some good work off the ropes....Nothing from their team.

I don't argue for the sake of arguing. I despise devil's advocates and I do not engage in arguendo, and to answer your initial question, I see merited bias.

I heard they scored it to Pacquiao by 5 rounds?

Which was vastly different to Lederman who give it to Pacquiao 10 rounds to 2?

and Lampley i believe was 11 rounds to 1?

I disagree man, I think that's a wild accusation. I'll check it out at some point, but I disagree. those guys are professionals, you can't fool someone into not seeing what's clear as day.

Lederman should be embarrassed calling certain judges mediocre
then plugging his daughter as an elite judge. Lampley I disregard
anyway. If the ppv was at my house it would've been muted but
I cant just go around muting other peoples tv's so.......

Dude, they are puppets... They work for HBO. They root for whoever HBO tells them to root for.

    This is old news.

I couldn't be more honest with you.

I can remember vividly on numerous occasions Bradley landing a lead right or a good overhand, to have Manny try and counter with a wild flurry where virtually all of it doesn't land, and all Lampley or Steward would comment on was Pac's "amazing footwork", or his "huge power advantage" for the hundredth time. All the while giving Bradley no credit.

I mean **** they didn't mention anything about the good body work Bradley was doing (with exception of Kellerman on 1 occasion, when he said Bradley landed a good straight right to the body) that slowed Pacquiao down in the later rounds.

Well did you not hear Steward during the Bailey - Jones fight!? He said that the fight was **** and boring and wouldn't change. Then Bailey floored him and he said that Bailey didn't have it in him to follow up with a KO - then straight after he said that Jones could go on to stop Bailey if he put his foot on the gas (after being knocked down) then once Bailey Knocked him out he started banging on about how this was the best and most favourite KO blah blah blah - all in the space of 6 ****ing minutes! It makes me feel like were lucky to have Jim Watt FFS!

I did notice in the main event that they would not credit Bradley with anything - and considering Margarito got smashed up, Mosley got decked and ran, Cotto got ****ed up and Clottey ran and hid all night they gave little credit to Bradley for his work!
