I like them both.. They both show great fights.. HBO has the most high-profile fights which are usually on HBO, but Showtime also shows some great fights such as the ones this weekend..

HBO just better production and Larry and Lamps make a great team. But Showtime has been stepping up lately.

Ask me this a year ago and I would have said HBO but now they seem to be obsessed with just promoting old past prime fighters mostly GBP and neglecting new talent. Showtime has been getting better in promoting the future of the sport IMO.

HBO puts on a better production, but it seems to me their bias towards certain fighters is obvious, even when choosing which punches to show in the replays between rounds. Plus, I can't stand Larry Merchant.

Showtime's budget is obviously smaller, but they seem to be doing a better job recently of matchmaking competitive bouts.

  6. HBO has Showtime beat. The production for HBO fight are way better quality than Showtime. Showtime has decent fights from time to time but in my opinion HBO has better ones

HBO is still KING! Showtime is too inconsistant with their programming.... HBO has more money, too...... Showtime is trying hard to steal fans by showing the ringcard broads, but that's not enough... HBO is the network of Champions...

:good :good :good HBO is too "Home of Beloved OScar" for my taste. Because of Showtime, and Don "Only in America" King, we get free boxing this Saturday. Because of that gay ass crossdresser from East LA and Homo Box Office, we are going to get charged 60 bucks to watch Bernard Hopkins run like a ***** in a week.
