Roy Jones did a hell of a job commentating last night once again. I think HBO should offer him a 7year contract or something. I really enjoy how they ask him questions. For example: Lampley asked him "how do you block the uppercut?" i think he should be doing the commentating from now on for HBO. What do you guys think?
I hope they put it up on their Youtube channel, because I had to watch it with ****ing aweful Sky box office commentary.
me too, it was ridiculous how the announcers were acting like Khan destroyed Maidana and the fight was over after like 6 rounds. Even when Khan was rocked and on the run, they were praising his chin and defense
Yeah, I always enjoy Roy's commentating, as well. If he would hang up the gloves, for good, he might get that deal you mentioned.
Not a bad idea. Lampley is horrible & i cant listen to that dude any longer. Get rid of lamps & replace him with Jones Jr. ,Kellerman & Steward. That would be a good team. I'm a big fan of Foreman commentating. He always spoke that truth and was entertaining. :deal
Yeah, I don't know why they don't have people who don't box commentating. Roy is the best one and after him may be George Foreman

i like roy becuase he knows his **** and he can explain why certain things are happening i been sayed he was the best on to use.everyone else can stay on the team just let roy have his say because he will make the mose sence to ME !!!!
I think skybox was way better then Merchant yelling all the time and overly biased comments. It was horrible on HBO.
because even though they have inside boxing knowledge, they cant carry the entire show or have the ability to handle an entire show...former pro atheltes are good for their insight and not for carrying an entire show and coordinating everything that is said...its a little more involved than seeing a fight and saying what you think...lampley does alot of **** behind the scenes that roy dont...
Roy's great, Lampley's okay apart from when he gets started on his 'Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang' ****. Merchant is okay aswell but I don't like his interviews, he's only worthwhile because he gets some inside knowledge.
