    Heard a rumor this was in the works. Anyone heard about this?

    I'm thinking not on HBO. They removed all there fights that were on the on demand feature ages ago. They cut there boxing ties swiftly.

    Doesn’t mean they can’t do documentaries and movies on boxing. They’re releasing an Ali doc next month.

    I’ve heard nothing about this. But I wish it were true. When I search HBO Willie Pep on google, the only result is this thread.

    Correction to my post. What was once an HBO film idea 16 years ago is now an independent film project. The rumor is that Steve Loff and James Madio (Band of Brothers) are working on an the film about Pep. They have raised capital and are about to commence filming.
