    Hi guys / gals

Looking at getting a new head guard and want some good protection for black eyes and nose. I just got this one http://www.sugarrays.co.uk/shop/pro-box-aluminium-bar-headguard.html

but I found it to big and my head movement is poor with it on and to be honest I dont like the bar across the front. It give superb face protection of course but I think it hinders my sparring.

So sent it back and now am looking for a compromise i.e. give up a bit of face protection for a more compact head guard.

    Seen this one - http://www.sugarrays.co.uk/shop/adidas-super_pro-head-guard.html

Anyone used it? Also how do you think that would do for nose and eye protection? Please post links to good head guards you would recommend as well if you can...hate shopping for this online cause I want to try it on!

    Thanks!

yeah thats me. I'm selling a large black winning fg2900.

I have used it twice in sparring, other than that its as good as new.

    Pm me if you're interested.

The one piece of advice I always give with headgear is to get a suede interior. It slides a lot less on your head than leather.
