    Interesting piece here.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/46608529

Not too happy about the bit where it states ""You'll see loads of clashes next year and it's mainly a venue thing because it's not easy to secure venues and tie that in with the broadcaster" as we, the fans, will miss out yet again.

Another interesting link with the piece reveals (apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere) that Whyte's last fight in July sold an estimated 470,000 times, generating close to £9.5m to divide between parties.

Let that sink in, £9.5m for a non title fight.

I wonder how many buys Saturday will bring compared to his fight v Parker? Full list of the PPVs Buys are at the bottom of the link within the original BBC link.

Warren chatting nonsense again. His talking from a position of where Frampton vs Warrington and Whyte v Chisora is equal and the pie will be split into two. That's clearly not the case.

It's like he wants to get his excuse out their already to explain why Warrington v Frampton has done a low number.

Warrington v Frampton was always going to peak at say 150k buys but probably do just over 100k buys so now may do less. That fight has its niche audience who will buy the fight regardless of Whyte v Chisora.

I don't care what anyone says

Hearn had said long before Warren announced Warrington/Frampton that he had the O2 booked and would be going on that date. The guy is a sneaky ****er, but in this case it wasn't as sneaky as his usual antics

Thing is I can’t see Warren hurting Hearn whatever he does but I can see Hearn hurting Warren so 2019 will be interesting.

Ironically it was Warren who got got the Board to lift a ban on promoters running events on the same night.

Lets not kid ourselves here. Warren wouldn't give a damn about a matchroom PPV on the same night if he had the bigger fight.

    Yes I agree

Doesn't mean Hearn didnt this on purpose doess it
He is in the driving seat so he can
Bricktop was in the same position years ago but now finds himself being battered

Roles reversed I'm sure he would do the same

The only way I can see Warren doing it is with Fury vs Wilder in the UK, but I really doubt that will happen and if it does he will be hurting himself more than Hearn.

The card clashes are bad for boxing fans, end of story. Doesn't matter whose fault it is. It needs to stop.

Warren is like a fly to Edward. If Eddie feels an itch, he will just ping Warren away.

It's weird when fans complain about Hearn when it comes to poor quality PPV's and matches. When Warren was top dog he was horrific for both.

Frank's basically skint again, he will cash out his fighters next year and refuse to pay them by bankrupting his company. He will then try and drag them out through legal battles to try and run away with the money. He's done this time and again, I don't know why any fighter or any fan gives him any respect. Hell you couldn't even say his name on this forum.

Never. You mean the guy that brought us Tyson v Francis on PPV and Groves vs Degale isn't just as money hungry as every other promoter.

    Of course not.
