Good honest interview from Hearn. - Quigg didn't do enough, too little too late - Frampton won by a good few rounds - can't see value in rematch - doesn't think Frampton will face Rigo but doesn't try to diss them for it (not enough money) Also a class IFL video with Frampton in quigg a dressing room. Respect to the man Shane still has work to do on manners and respect If no Rigo, hope Frampton goes for WBO belt. http://youtu.be/VdXow9WvVOI
Eddie is more concerned with the prospect of having to shell out for s rematch than he is the result, which when you look how Quigg fought in the opening 6-7 rounds is fair enough. Neither Scott or Gallagher for that matter gave Hearn much value for money last night.
Were now for quigg....possible matchup against one of the mcdonnells for a stadium fight...possibly selby or warrington if they dont fight each other. ....possibly donnaire ppv?
Quigg should never be on another PPV. I'm not buying another one for the rest of this year. Im happy to stick with regular sky and my BN subscription. Having gavin 'snoozefest' McDonnell fighting some nobody as chief support is taking the ****
Quigg has still got options and decent fights at his level. Donaire, LSC, Galahad (if he is clean and sis still the same fighter). I think Frampton is the one that is going to take the easier fights but will be making a lot more money. Neither should be on PPV going forward though. Outside of Carl Froch no one at Matchroom deserves to be PPV now or in the future.
I cant sew quigg travelling. ..espcially after last night. ...he could move up...i rekon quiggs thinking cashout time
If Galahad wasn't banned I'd match him and Quigg to see where both are. I can see a very straightforward fight next for Quigg, probably Tyson Cave. I think Hearn needs to reevaluate PPV under cards, timings etc- it dragged last night unnecessarily.
Galahad deserved to be banned for life. He is nowhere near Quigg's level and has to work all the way back up before his is even close to being deserving of a pay day.
Why you mentioned PPV are you sick Quigg is not PPV worthy saying that nor is 99.9% of British fighters
No boxers deserve PPV unless they are Mike Tyson or Prince Naseem. And they are long retired. It's matchups that make PPV, and I can understand why Frampton v Quigg WAS PPV. Two undefeated fighters fighting to unify two titles. However, they needed each other to make it happen. It turned out to be mediocre, and I'm just glad I got a stream.
