I'm a big fan of Eddie Hearn and think he has done a great job for British boxing. 2017 was a great year for match room but I can't help but feel disappointed with 2018 and the year there was so much promise. For me warren has really closed the gap this year... What's everyone's thoughts?

Warren has closed the gap? How?

Flanagan - failed to secure him Linares after Terry announced it was a "done deal", which Hearn managed to do 3x for his fighters
    Skeete - no big fights
    Warrington - no big fights

Yarde and Dubois still fighting Hungarian cab drivers on 10 days notice

DeGale and Selby STILL NO OPPONENTS with less than 4 weeks until the show

I have serious doubts whether Warren can secure LSC for Frampton at Windsor Park, which was Hearn's offer.

Where are these PPV shows? Where are the shows with an attendance over 3000?

The one area which I think we can be critical of Hearn in, is his handling of his prospects. The Joe Cordina situation was a farce, I think Hearn's stable is far too big now and is being stretched too thin especially considering he's now in America too.

This is the perfect post. Anyone who thinks Warren has closed the gap is tripping.

Watching tv before. Advert comes on. Who is it? Not other than Josh Pretty Boy Kelly advertising under armour and JD sports.

Eddie absolutely blows Frank out the water. He builds huge brands behind his fighters as well as getting them top fights on a massive platform.

Frank has good fighters, gets them **** fights in short notice for the opposition and doesn’t know what building a brand is. Terry Flanagan was the longest reigning (British) world champion until about a week ago. He’s got about 10 followers on all platforms of social media and has probably got no deals with any company.

Hearn is way too big for Warren. He probably outpoints him with the jab or stops him late.

Was impressed with the turnout for the Taylor fight- the matchmaking from Cyclone was also great last night.

I'm not entirely sure that Frank is getting as much as he'd like out of the BT deal as regards rights fees.

The difference was summed up by the fact Hearn sold far more tickets for his 1st ever US bill than Frank did in Newcastle for the two Liam’s bill.

Why do people support promoters, it's like Hearn has turned into a boxer, I just pick whatever fights look good whether it be Hearn, Warren, Hennessey, who ever

Putting AJ to one side who are these massive brands that Hearn is creating?

Crolla got in the newspaper once because he nearly had his head caved in by a robber and Brook because he nearly had his leg cut off by his ‘mate’ is this what your talking about??

Degale/selby left him to go to Haymon

Groves didn’t want anything to do with him and choose to sign with Seauerland..

Warrington left For Warren and is still doing good tickets in Leeds

Frampton/mtk didn’t want to know and went with frank

    Get of Eddie nuts mate

Frank keeps bigging up the BT deal but I don't see any real improvements in his shows ! He has some decent fighters but he doesn't seem to build their profiles. If I were BT I wouldn't be happy
