Hearns KO1 Pacquiao

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by boxingfanatix, Mar 23, 2012.

  1. Hearns knocked out Duran in two rounds, so of course he would knock out Pacquiao in one round, maybe the first minute.

    Let the controversy begin.

There are a lot of idiots on this board, but even so I think you will be hard pressed to find many who will disagree with this. Tommy would have decapitated him.

KO1 is a little ambitious, if you ask me. I could see the possibility of Hearns KOing pac, though.

I think Pacquiao could get inside Hearn's reach and really mess him up and side and wear him down like Hagler did. Plus Pacquiao has a more tested chin than Hagler's and is more vicious.

I predict a competitive fight, but Hearns goes down in 7

Maybe, maybe not. Taking nothing away from Hearns, but it is no secret that Duran barelly trained for the fight, and as a result he got koed.

He also has an under-rated defense!

Pacquiao went to war with Barrera, Morales Cotto, Margarito, Marquez and Larios. I wouldn't say those guys hit lightly either. His chin has been test planty of times. Who has Hagler really fought that could bang?
    Mugabi? Hearns?
Mugabi lost to Norris in the 1st round and Hearns's power wasn't the same at 160 and was a bit overrated anyways. He only had his right hand and once you took that away, you beat him.

For the record, I think Pacquaio would fight Hearns patiently, and try to make Hearns the aggressor initially to see what he was going to do, so he would last more than 1 round.
