Now i was wondering what you guys feel about this so after everyones opinion.

I would love nothing more than for Heavyweight to have a limit of 210 pounds.
Because if you remember how good did Heavyweights look athletic wise in the ring when guys like these men were at these weights.

    ALI
1962-1966 ALI weighed anywhere from 202 pounds to 210
He was graceful in the ring with speed etc.

    PATTERSON
1959-1965 FLOYD weighed anywhere from 183 pounds to 198
He was one of my favourites all time.

    LISTON
1960-1964 SONNY weighed anywhere from 210 to 218
He was a beast at the time scary like.

    LOUIS
1937-1942 JOE weighed anywhere from 197 to 206 pounds
We all know how good Joe was.

    MARCIANO
1952-1955 THE ROCK weighed anywhere from 185 to 190
He is talked about as one of the best punchers ever

Now there are plenty more like Frazier,Dempsey,Charles etc.

Now all these guys were brilliant to watch in full flight we can all agree on that and what were going through at the moment is just a poor poor mans version of these Greats.

What i think the boxing community needs to do is make a Super Heavy division.
Because most of those guys are boring because of there lack of speed and athleticism.

But can you imagine quality fighters like with skill at 190 to 200 fighting for the Heavyweight title name like.

    Calzaghe
    Dawson
    Cunningham
    Haye
    Hopkins
    Jones
they are just a few of the names that would have fought at and could have fought at around 200.

Imagine you would get none of this **** talk about how bad the Heavy's are which they are very poor.

So i say scrap the Cruiserweight division maked it 210 Heavy and anyone over 210 goes under the Super Heavy.

How do you feel about this.

Problem is, the allure of the heavyweight division was always the biggest guys, the biggest punches. It's about the spectacle and 'just takes one punch' as much as anything.
If we create the superheavyweight division, that's no longer the case.
