camacho sr. such a natural talent can still fight at 46 even though he partied, didn't train, did drugs in his prime years etc

imagine if camacho had the discipline hopkins has shown throughout his career ... macho would probably of retired undefeated

Bet he spent the purse on an eightball ... what an overall disgrace and waste of talent ... and those are the best things I can say about him ...:rasta :rasta

I second the idea of him spending his purse on a eightball. I once met him at my gym in Orlando FL where he came to spar (about two years ago) and he was talking of his "comeback". Anyhow after he was all done and ready to go he asked my coach if he knew any good places to score coke in the area. Not even knowing my coach well,-sidenote, my coach is a devoted Christian and a striaght arrow.

He was next to me in a bar watching a Pistons game about 5 years ago. He was cool, talking basketball, boxing, etc, had a few drinks with us. At about midnight his homies came in, I thought they all left, but I walked in and saw them snorting up in the bathroom.

So true Camacho could have been so much more-though amazing what he did while hardly putting in the effort.

Winning three titles in the alphabet soup era is not the achievement it sounds .. Camacho had exceptional ability. He should have been an all time great and he is not because he wasted his talents on drugs. I did not say he had a bad career, just no where near what he was initially capable of in my opinion.
