I have been surprised by the height difference in this fight between these two men. Mayweather was wearing custom made AirMax sneakers at the weigh-in, which appeared to give him a good 2.5 to 3 inches in height. Pac had running shoes on, but those probably added an inch or so on his behalf. The height difference will *not* be anywhere near as pronounced in the ring.
Floyd def has a complex being short he has custom shoes to give him a inch or 2 just like Dog the Bounty Hunter & Danzigatsch Whoever thought those names would appear in the same scenariio:thumbsup
yeah, i was wondering about that. when they face off, it looks almost like Margarito vs Pacquiao but Marg is 5'11 and Floyd is supposedly 5'8.
I'd be more concerned about the 5 inch reach advantage Mayweather has than the inch and a half difference in height.

This was my main reason behind always thinking Floyd would beat manny, regardless of the year. Tonight, Manny will look as big as JMM looked against FLoyd in their fight in 2009. Marquez also had an identical 5 inch reach disadvantage vs Mayweather.
im not concerned about it in terms of an advantage- pacquiao is always the shorter man. just interesting that hatton is almost as tall as floyd, and pac is the same height as hatton, but floyd is FOUR inches taller than pac- which leads me to believe that has a complex being short
