Well Boxrec have the fight down although they never are 100% accurate. Still, not a bad comeback fight if true.

That is something I expected.. It took so long to find anyone cause no one wants to face Helenius with a short preparation so this Williams is OK and understable opponent. You remember that Helenius was scheuled to fight against Jarno Rosberg but Rosberg got sick two weeks ago and cancelled the fight..

Considering the circomstances, I think its a decent matchup.
As mentioned above, its short notice, Helenius is coming from an 11 month layoff because of injuries. So for a comeback fight with short notice I think it a fair match

Good fight considering Helenius is coming off an injury. He should make easy work of Williams, then he ought to take on a series of top 20 opponents next year.

I dont see any other outcome than Helenius' victory but is he capable of stopping Williams? would be a statement that he is back

This isn't a good fight, but all that can really be expected for someone coming off a long injury lay off.
Helenius isn't the sort of fighter to look for easy opponents, he fought Peter, Liakhovich, and Chisora last year, so I expect he'll take on another decent opponent next year.

War Tank. Sherman beat Welliver by a wide margin without even trying. It's not a bad fight and Helenius struggled to win rounds against fat Peter and Liakhovich. Tank has a decent chin so could pose a real threat here.

Sherman's not a bad fight for Helenius at this point. Anytime you are coming off an injury you might want to test it out against a lesser opponent to see where you're at.

Like others have mentioned its a short notice opponent and Helenius has been off almost a year so Williams is fine when all is considered. Helenius has a proven record of taking tough fights so, if his shoulder is good, he'll probably be stepping up pretty quick after this.

Not too bad a fight after such a long break and the Chisora debacle.

I guess Rosberg **** his pants and didn't want anything to do with a healthy Helenius. "Tank" vs. "The Nordic Nightmare" - what a fight in Helsinki this will be! :smoke

It will be interesting to see how Helenius fights.

He'll probably be even more cautious / sedate than usual, do to his recent injuries, but he's also had a long time to think about things like promotion & crowd appeal. I'm sure he watched Haye-Chisora, and realizes he needs that kind of aggression to get people talking about him.

Let's see if the old dog can learn some new tricks.

I'm kinda' hoping he'll enter the ring with a shaved head, and maybe a tattoo on the back. Dude seriously needs a new image.

What, you can post constructive discussion, that is good.

But yeah it really is not that bad fight for having such a long break and having so little of time to get opponent for fight date...

Edit. And Williams GONNA WIN ROUNDS in that fight so calm down already with that upcoming **** storm towards Helenius about losing rounds against shot/old/bums.:smoke
