Winky? His defense is impeccable. Maybe if he whips Wright, will that do it?

Nah. Winky's been inactive for too long. Combine that with his age and they'll say Calz just beat a shopworn fighter with ring rust.

If Joe beats Dawson: Dawson was green, overrated and actually lost to old man Johnson.

If Joe beats Johnson: He was too old. Last decent outing was against Dawson and he couldn't even close that deal.

And on and on and on.

Son, do you do much thinking ?

And do you find your head hurts when you do?

If Eubank was slated to fight someone else (Prince,) and switched to take Calzaghe on two weeks notice, do you think Calzaghe knew for months that he would be fighting Eubank ?

Or could he have been expecting to fight someone else (Collins) till two weeks before the fight ?

To spell it out for you, BOTH guys were training for someone else till two weeks or so before they met.

no cause winky didnt even look good at 170. he look tired, body didnt look good, punches were slower. winky fighting joe would look similar to this fight, with joe winning on activity

A rematch with Kessler would be competitve, but wouldnt make Joe enuff money. A rematch with Lacy wouldnt sell if it was for $10 and wouldnt prove anything.

Calzaghe must be one hell of a Walesman bartender then.

Funny how guys like Toney, Hopkins, Ruiz(wake me up when a British "elite" fighter fights from Middleweight all the way to heavyweight), Tarver, Griffin, Trinidad, Woods, Kelly, Harding, Gonzalez and MANY more are bartenders yet Ashira, Lacy, Manfredo and Eubank are supreme ATGs.

This is a multi weight division champion who fought all the way to heavyweight, Calzaghe didn't even unify super middleweight till Lacy and Kessler literally ran after him all the way to England.

Back to where you belong and die there please.
