He may not deserve a title shot but why wouldn't he be in the picture anymore? The guy has the right to fight back. I think he should take a couple of tune up fights. Ngoudjo has had a very difficult career so far.

My goal wasn't to get you. Sorry if my post let you believe it. I only wanted to explain why he was holding after the third round. For the rest, I agree with you and as I wrote it in the same post, he was being schooled before his jaw was broke.

I really think Holt is an overall better boxer ( more powerful, cleaner shot and about same hand speed) than Ngoudjo but i'll go with an UD or SD for Ngoudjo. The reason behind my logic is pretty simple. The workrate of Holt is awful. He could have won the fight against Bradley but he took it way too carelessly. You cannot win a round when you only throw 20 punches. Ngoudjo, while inconsistent, is a tenacious worker that will win some of the close rounds by grinding and overpunching Holt

    Why not?

    He's still a top 10 fighter.

    ^ at 140?

with Khan, Bradley, Urango, Alexander, Malignaggi and Maidana

maybe Herman sneaks into the top ten

but this fight with Holt will be a better indication
