I would've loved to see this fight!

  3. I think a prime Ali would have beaten a prime Holy by very close decision, Damn it would have been a great fight...:good

    Ali wins by UD.

I'm tempted to say it won't be close, but Holyfield did have a way to fight to the level of opposition, so I say he has some success and gives Ali some rough moments and loses a competitive but clear UD

Boring fight, Ali wins almost every round in a sleeper.

If Norton gave Ali 3 close fights, I think Holyfield's size, style and toughness would give Ali 10 much closer fights.

I think in their primes on their best night, Holyfield wins by UD. Ali was boring to me... some of his fights were just plain boring. I've never seen a boring Holyfield fight, never.

But I think the fight would go something like this... Ali fighting backwards as usual and Holyfield coming forward as he usually does. Ali would probably land some good punches but none would hurt Holyfield because he's taken shots from Lewis, Bowe, Tyson (all of whom were bigger punchers than Ali). As soon as the fighters would get close, I can see Holyfield landing punches in combinations as soon as Ali would lie on the ropes. With Holyfield being the aggressor, throwing combinations and backing up Ali the whole fight and wanting to engage in toe to toe action....

I think Ali would get booed because of his unwillingness to engage in toe to toe action with Holyfield.

    Holyfield by UD.

Ali by UD. I expect Ali to stay on the outside making use of his height advantage and reach advanatage to throughly outbox Holyfield. Holyfield doesn't have the power to stop Prime Ali and if you don't stop prime Ali, you don't beat him either.

Bad matchup for Holyfield. He matches up well with a lot of great HWs, but with Ali he doesn't. Ali by a very easy decision.

Ali would likely score more points.

Two great champions, but probably a rather tedious fight, given their styles.
