We all saw what happened when these two met in the twilight of Evander's illustrious career. Could Toney pull the same tricks on the younger faster version at cruiser? So as to avoid the constant questioning of Toney's conditioning let's assume this this the Toney of the Jirov fight, fully prepared to go 12 hard rounds. Who ya got?:!:

Holyfield by wide decision. Jirov outworked Toney at times and the cards were close before the stoppage. Jirov, had horrid defense however, and Toney slowly chopped away until hitting paydirt in the late rounds. Holyfield had better defense, more power and was faster than Jirov. The biggest detriment to Toney, would be lack of work rate as compared to Holfyield. At 190 lbs, Holyfield was a machine. Toney would never find the big shot to turn the fight around.
