    Young, the ultimate cutie. George Chaplin, Mamby, James Tony, Haugen, Cobb, no way! He was the heavyweight version of Vito Antifermo! Benitez, Vilomar Fernandes.

    yeah, i remember that. but i still go back and forth on haugen being a cutie.

    to be really honest, the only real time i saw him as a cutie was vs jimmy paul. and even then the only "cute" element of his game was taking away pauls jab by slipping it/ moving back. in most fights i think he was more of a brawler than anything else.

    What about the first two Pazienza fights? He sliced and diced him, he didn't brawl. The second fight featured Haugen's jab permanently glued to Paz's nose.

    Haugen wasn't a brawler, but he wasn't a particularly good cutie either.

    i see him more as a very basic textbook guy that knew his limitations well.
