Just read on some site an article hoping this fight goes ahead. To be perfectly honest with you fellow boxing afficianados (as i hope i always am) i struggle to think of a fight that would be less boring. Hopkin would win easy but it would positively bore us all to tears!

Hopkins only wants this fight because Valuev beat Ruiz....Jones beat Ruiz, and if Hopkins beats Valuev he thinks it will be a greater.

Yeah, BHop would win a seriously boring fight. Granted, that's how he'd have to fight in order to secure the points win, but it'd be hard to not fall asleep during it. I say do it, BHop and take this bum's belt away.

I think it would be cool. A 160lb fighter taking on a 300lb fighter... And winning!

Hopkins would only win if it wasn't in Germany. If it was in Germany and for Hopkins to win they would have to "turn out the lights and give him a sub-machine gun", to quote commentary from the Robin Reid v Sven Ottke fight.

After the Holyfield fight he knows he can't count on getting the decision even if he bloodies Valuev to a pulp. This fight doesn't happen.
