Do you guys think that Hopkins is taking some sort of supplements that help him be in a shape he is and compete at the highest levels of the sport?
I remember reading somewhere that he was accused of taking Human Growth Hormone (the same stuff that Stallone takes ) Do you think it's true or is it all natural like B-Hop says it is (good diet, exercise, dont drink , dont smoke, don't hang out late. dont party, go to sleep early). I know he takes vitamins and such, He even said so in one of the interviews but could it be that he takes HGH or something simillar?

I dont think he does, Nard is just a technician at the highest level. He utilises small yet subtle movement and just times his opponents and uses their best strengths as weaknesses. Once in a while comes an athlete that just defies the clock and all logic with it, Hopkins is the incarnation of this. Hopkins has seeminly sacfiriced any fun in his life to achieve at boxing, I think he's just a remarkable guy to be honest (even if he is a complete ******* lol)

Don"t think so. What Stallone does is very different. He doesn't really need to do. He just have to look the part. But Hopkins is not competing for Mr. Olimpia. He is boxing. They all take vitamins and supplements. But the bottom line is HARD TRAINING

All true, and he's never taken a beating. Fighters who avoid beatings age much slower than fighters who walk through them.

no special supplements. you real young guys need to realize that 43 ain't that old if you take care of yourself as hopkins does. that so few athletes compete at high levels is more a function of lifestyle (which includes repetitve sport injuries, stress, wear and tear from long professional seasons or getting hit in the head as in boxing). as hopkins has a clean lifestyle and hasn't taken much punishment, he's able to compensate for the small erosion of physical abilities with craftiness and skill.

I heard a crazy story like how he went out to a posh restaurant and one of the dishes had red wine as a sauce or something and he asked if the red wine could be removed!

Thats hardcore dedication to remain fit! (if true)

I don't think he does, he is not the only one who fought at that age at a high level. Duran was age 50 when he retired( and he wasn't such a disciplined guy like B-hop). Some fighters are so dedicated to this sport that they can fight longer with passion and motivation.
