Well tell your buddy he may not be that far off, the Dawg is torn on this fight. Hopkins looked OLD against Calzaghe and Miranda is very mean :yep

 

He's a good guy just supporrts his favorite fighter a little too much. It was real funny around here after the second Abraham fight.:yep

Hopkins by WIDE UD and possible late KO. Just too skilled for Miranda.

And I have nothing against Miranda supporters. I think he's exciting to watch. But he's not skilled enough for the top dogs.

Does he think Miranda was robbed against Pavlik? If not, he's ok to join but if he thinks Miranda shoulda won that fight then he may be too ridiculous even for this site

This would be one of the worst fights stylistically you could ever find for Miranda in the history of boxing.

Massacre.

Maybe the stoppage would come a lot sooner though.

 

Hopkins doesn't massacre anybody anymore His last stoppage was in '04 against Oscar and he is 3-3 in the 4 years after that. And those 3 wins came against Howard Eastman, an unmotivated and out of shape Tarver and a fat Winky at 170lbs!!!! Why this guy is still looked at as a "dangerous" fighter is beyond me.

 

I see two ways for this bout of ending.

1-Miranda gets close to Hopkins all night and tries to Haymayker him but can't touch him. He gets frustrated and tries to HeadButt Hopkins but finds out that Hopkins as a harder head then him and gets Knocked out after his forehead colides with B-Hop.
2-Miranda swings wildly at Hopkins and drops on the canvas winded.
