We had that one on hear already. A few times I think.

The jab is the key I think. Hearns“ was great. Hopkins was great in taking away the jab. If he can do so to Hearns, he wins. Maybe even by late TKO. I think he can do so enough to eek out a decision.

If Jermain Taylor could decision him twice and he needed to continually headbutt in order to cut Wright and put him in (more) defensive mode , then why couldn't Hearns ?

    Prime Hopkins?

Bernard has the versatility and defense to handle Hearns, I think.

What are you talking about ? and who are (were) you ?
Prime Hopkins was almost the same ground and pound while standing up fighter only with less headbutts .

I thinks it's possible BHop can pull out a decision...if he lasts.

What would make anyone think B-Hop can beat Hearns in a decision? He's probably the toughest fighter in the history of Boxing to win a decsion against the 2nd Barkley fight was a fluke,he just wanted to prove that Iran could'nt knock him out.I dont like Hopkins Style to beat Hearns, and he's never been hit by anyone like Hearns will hit him,and it will be often to,this isnt Echols or the other bums he's fought, that great defense that everyone thinks he has would be cracked wide open his only chance is if Hearns is at 147 and he's at 160.

This could go either way, Hopkins has never beat anyone of the speed and with the quality of jab Hearns has, in fact he has problems with speed and lost to the 3 fastest men he faced. Hearns hasn't beat anyone of Hopkins calibre at 160 or above. I think a younger Hopkins who can be aggressive and pressure Hearns stands a better chance of pulling out the win
